American and Korean researchers have created a new artificial skin that has a dense network of sensors that can detect pressure, heat and cold, and even moisture. The skin also has an elasticity that gives the prosthetic a more realistic feel as it moves. They’re still researching the best way to connect the sensors into human nerves.
