Is the Web Really World Wide?

There is a portion of this world’s population that could care less about the World Wide Web. Even if they’re aware of it’s existence, it still has no direct bearing on their day-to-day lives. An Internet outage doesn’t affect their work. If Twitter/YouTube/Insert-your-favorite-app-here goes down for an hour they feel no anxiety and have zero frustration.

‘Make My Logo Bigger Cream’ in Computer Arts

Making a video that pokes fun at designers’ clients is what we call an afternoon of laughs. Making a video that reaches more than half a million people in 180 countries and generates over 700 new leads for our company is what we call awesome.

Luckily, they were one in the same for us when we released our ‘Make My Logo Bigger Cream’ campaign video, which mocks ridiculous client requests that designers deal with on a daily basis. It caught the attention of magazines like HOW, PRINT, STEP Inside Design, CreativePro, and most recently, the mother of all web-design pubs: Computer Arts. They put the entire MMLB video on their interactive CD insert for the March 2008 issue. Now thousands more will simultaneously laugh and cry; partly because it’s funny, and partly because it rings so painfully true.
